Touch ups are booked at an hourly rate. One artist will remain on site to ensure that you are still looking fresh after all the hugs, kisses, and happy tears. It’s especially helpful to have someone available to touch you up between the ceremony and reception, especially if you do a wardrobe change. We strongly recommend this as a part of your day!

What are touch-up concierge hours?

We work with you or your wedding planner to arrange a custom hair and makeup schedule for your bridal party. This initial schedule is complementary and ensures that each person receives the attention they deserve. You and your bridal party can sit back and relax with a little bubbly while we keep your day running smooth and stress free! We also recommend downloading our complimentary guide (below) to ensure everyone is appropriately prepared and knows what to expect.

What’s the day-of like?

We prefer to use luxury brands such as: NARS, Trish McEvoy, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and more. It is our experience that traditional makeup looks the most natural.

What type of makeup do you use?

We do not use airbrush. We strive to use top of the line, luxury makeup brands that provide our clients with the best results possible. We find that airbrush does not stand up to the quality that we believe is the most professional.

Do you use airbrush?

Absolutely! We recommend it! However, please schedule in advance. During busy seasons availability may become limited and we may not be able to accommodate your appointment with your photographer.

Can I schedule my bridal trial to coincide with my engagement or bridal portraits?

Yes. A trial helps ensure we have best captured your vision and are able to deliver it in a timely manner on your actual day.

Are trials required?

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Packages are available upon inquiry. Airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation & travel fees apply. Please fill out the contact form for a custom quote.

Do you travel for destination events?

Begin by filling out the questionnaire. Once I have received your completed questionnaire, I will prepare a contract for you based on your service requests. After your contract is signed, and the retainer payment is received, the date will be yours.

How do I book?

We book commercial events by half day (4 hours) or full day (8 hrs). Additional time can be added by the hour but must be confirmed in advance.

Do you charge an hourly rate?

We are so excited to get you ready for your upcoming event! In order to help you obtain the best possible results, we recommend the following guidelines for preparation. This is a great opportunity to pamper yourself with a little TLC!

Prep Guide

  • Drink lots of water. This is one of the best ways to hydrate your skin!
  • Use a warm washcloth to prepare your skin beforehand and/or take a hot bath.
  • Exfoliate! This will help ensure you remove any dry patches and that your skin is even And ready for makeup. We recommend exfoliating 3-4 times/week leading up to the wedding. Make sure to include your lips!
  • Moisturize! Make sure to use a good quality moisturizer both morning and evening. Adding in a serum is a great way to boost new cell turnover and reduce sun spots and blemishes.
  • Avoid facials within 48 hrs of your event. It can take skin time to recover!

Day Of

  • Please arrive with your hair clean and dry. (It’s a common misconception that you should arrive with “dirty” hair before your appointment. This is not the case. Rest assured that we have all of the necessary products to make you look and feel your best!)
  • Please arrive with a fresh, clean face and no makeup.
  • If you have a favorite product or tool, feel free to bring it.
  • Wearing a button up shirt will protect you from messing up your hair once it’s been done!

We recommend focusing on your sleep in the weeks prior to your event. Aim for at least 8 hours. Wind down early and put away your devices before bed. Early morning sunshine can help regulate your circadian rhythm and increase your vitamin d! Limit your alcohol intake as well. It can cause your blood sugar to spike in the night and interrupt your sleep (it can also dry out your skin!).

Sleep

Seems simple right? The fact is many do not take care or understand the value. What you put in your body has a lot to do with how your skin will appear. We recommend avoiding greasy, fried foods in the days leading up to your event. Sodas and foods high in sugar can also impact your skin. Highly processed foods and gluten can cause inflammation and redness.
